This Privacy Policy explains what information MikroMan ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and cloud platform (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — the name, email address, and phone number you provide when registering, plus your plan and billing status.
- Router connection data — the router address and API credentials you add so the platform can manage your MikroTik devices. Credentials are stored encrypted and used only to operate features you enable.
- Operational data — vouchers, hotspot users, PPPoE customers, and reports you create in the platform.
- Usage & analytics — pages visited and basic device/browser information, collected with first-party cookies to understand traffic (only after you accept optional cookies in the consent banner). We do not store your raw IP address for analytics.
- Security & anti-fraud data — a random device identifier (cookie), your IP address, and browser user-agent, recorded when you register, sign in, or redeem a coupon. We use these solely to protect accounts, prevent duplicate/fraudulent registrations, and stop coupon abuse; they are never used for advertising.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and secure the Service and your account.
- To process subscriptions and payments.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse (duplicate accounts, coupon misuse), using the security data described above — this is a legitimate-interest use required to run promotions fairly.
- To send transactional messages (e.g. verification, password reset, alerts) and, where enabled, notifications by email or WhatsApp.
- To improve performance, reliability, and features.
3. Cookies
On your first visit a banner lets you choose between essential-only and all cookies. Essential cookies keep you signed in, secure your session, and carry the random security/anti-fraud device ID — these are strictly necessary and work without consent. The first-party analytics cookie is optional and is only set after you accept it. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as payment processing, email/WhatsApp delivery, and hosting), and where required by law.
5. Data retention
We keep account and operational data for as long as your account is active. Aggregate analytics events are kept for a limited period and then automatically deleted. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
6. Security
Router credentials are encrypted at rest, connections use HTTPS, and access is protected by authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data by contacting us. See the Contact page.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
