How a MikroTik hotspot login page works
Every MikroTik hotspot serves its captive portal from a folder of HTML files on the router — login.html, status.html, alogin.html, logout.html and error.html — chosen by the hotspot server profile's html-directory. Changing the look by hand means editing those files while keeping the RouterOS variables such as $(link-login-only) and $(chap-id) intact, then uploading them over FTP or WinBox. One broken variable and nobody can log in. MikroMan generates all five pages from a tested template with CHAP login and voucher/account tabs already wired in, so the design changes and the login keeps working.
35 designs, from minimal to bold
28 modern themes — Boarding, Terminal, Receipt, Bento, Frost, Luxe, Desh and more — plus 6 classic ones (Aurora, Pearl, Neo, Sunset, Ocean and Advance) and an Image theme built around your own photos.
Your brand on every page
Upload a logo (original, rounded or circle), pick the button colour, choose a theme, solid, gradient or image background with optional darkening, and add a welcome line plus a notice box for your price list or phone number.
Preview before you install
A live preview of all five pages — login, status, logged-in, logout and error — on a phone or a laptop-sized screen, updating as you edit, with sample data so nothing on the router changes.
One-click install, no FTP
Click Install and the router downloads the files itself with /tool fetch from a short-lived signed link. Free flash space is checked first, then the hotspot profiles are pointed at the new pages. Prefer to do it by hand? Download a ZIP instead.

Hotspot login page FAQ
How do I change the MikroTik hotspot login page?
By hand, you edit login.html (and the other hotspot pages) in the router's hotspot folder, keep the RouterOS variables intact, upload the files with FTP or WinBox and point the hotspot server profile's html-directory at them. With MikroMan you pick a template, customise it in a form and click Install — the router downloads the files and the profile is switched for you.
Will a new login page break voucher login?
No. Every template is generated with the RouterOS login variables and CHAP login already wired in, and supports vouchers, username/password accounts or both. The design changes; the login logic does not.
Do I need FTP or WinBox to upload the files?
No. The router fetches the files itself from a signed link that expires after 15 minutes, after checking there is enough free flash space. If you would rather upload manually, you can download the finished pages as a ZIP.
Can I use my own logo, colours and pictures?
Yes. Upload a logo, set the accent colour and choose a theme, solid, gradient or image background. The Image theme is built entirely around your own pictures: a logo plus separate desktop and mobile background images (up to 2 MB each).
Can I show my WiFi prices on the login page?
Yes. Each template has a notice box (up to 300 characters) that most owners use for their price list, opening hours or a phone number to buy vouchers, plus a short welcome line under the WiFi name.
Does it work on RouterOS 6 and 7?
Yes. The pages are standard RouterOS hotspot HTML and the install uses the router's own fetch tool, which both versions have.
Are the login page templates free?
The designer is part of MikroMan plans, and you can try every template free in the live demo before you buy. There is no per-template charge — switch designs as often as you like.
Can the login page be in my language?
The welcome line and notice box are free text, so you can write them in any language; the Desh theme even includes a Bangla welcome line. Built-in button labels are in English.
