How to update a Mikhmon installation
Mikhmon is a self-hosted PHP application, so there is no update button: you download the newer release, back up your existing folder — especially the session and settings files that hold your router credentials and voucher profiles — replace the application files, and then re-check that your router sessions still connect. Because everything lives on that one PC, an update that goes wrong takes your voucher panel with it, and there is no rollback unless you made the backup first. That is also why so many shops quietly stay on an old version for years: it works, and nobody wants to risk touching it on a busy evening.
Back up before every update
Copy the whole Mikhmon folder first. Your router credentials, hotspot profiles and voucher history live in files inside it — once they are overwritten they are gone.
Old versions are a security risk
A panel that is never updated is usually paired with an exposed router port. If the machine is reachable from the internet, an outdated install is the easiest way in.

How do I update Mikhmon to the latest version?

Will updating Mikhmon delete my vouchers or settings?
It can. Settings and session data live inside the application folder, so an update that overwrites those files takes your saved routers and profiles with it. Always copy the whole folder somewhere else first — that backup is the only rollback you have.
Is there an automatic update for Mikhmon?
